:confused:I apologize in advance but ive spent about 2 hours researching the site and yet to see this post. I am trying to purchase an intake and i am seeing kits that include appropriate couplings for a 2g maf, evo3 maf, gm and so forth. Im just curious as to if the 2g maf and 1g maf are the same...

the 2g maf has 75% more airflow.
If you plan on going with the 2gmaf you'd want to get
something to compensate for it.

Hi,

the 1G MAF is NOT compatible to the 2G MAF. If you want a 2G or EVO3 MAF in your 1G you have to use customized ECU software.

The better way is to use an EVO MAF, EVO injectors and the EVO ECU which can be tuned by yourself.

The 2G MAF isn's really interesting at all because it doesn't fit probably in the 1G airbox and it haven't more features then an EVO MAF
