Should you remove the foils from the 2 gmaf if your running it on a 1g? How will it affect the tuning can it be done and increase power . I have a safc afpr and 550s .

No, you should leave it like it is. Idle tuning is much easier and removing the screens doesn't increase the limit of the sensor that much anyway.
