For the exhaust manifold have you checked out Forced Performance's Race Manifold? I think they still have the group buy price for $175+shipping. If you want the ceramic coating I think it's an extra $75 or so. A lot of people seem to like that manifold.

As for the turbo, Extreme Turbo Systems has a great selection of turbos. Check out Forced Performance and there's a group buy on the Borg Warner S256 turbo. Check that one out for your hp goals.

*edit* Group buy for the BW S256 turbo ended last night. Still a great turbo though. Saw that you were looking at a 18g turbo in the first page. Forced Performance should still have a group buy on their FP 18g-6SL2 turbo for $699+shipping. I'll be installing my FP 18g in about a week.

Also, since if you want a package deal this would be great:
Forced Performance

Since you said "sky is the limit" for budget on your car I would suggest going with a bigger turbo such as the BW S256. What suggestions did ETS give you? I think they also have a new turbo line-up in the vendor announcements section. Although I think a bigger turbo such as a BW S256 is overkill for your goals I think it would be nice to have room to reach future hp goals without having to upgrade the turbo again.

sounds like one heck of a plan. When are you going to start with the maintanence??? That does look like one heck of a monster when you finish it.

do a tranny swap, get a 5 speed tranny and a bunch of the parts and ship it to werever u live now, theres a couple ppl on here and dsmtalk taht have done a/t to manual swap

heck yeah , i wana build a beast and a sleeper too .. for exterior i will be only doing Cf hood OEM and Rmm lip , and some Volk wheels .. speaking of which are the volk multipiece ? ..

Yeah but what do u guys think of all that anything missing ?

as for the tranny swap i love the auto .. il just run it till it pops then upgrade it :D

Ok so I know having an automatic is depressing, but my GSX is an automatic too. I have a buddy with a 98 GSX AUTO. and he loves it. I would like to get a stick but i'm a broke ass DSMerlike the rest of us..

vendors are u getting this .....

ooh before i forget , i was browsing through couple of forums and found this

Turbo Upgrade (1995+ and AT cars)

The 1G manual transmission cars got a large turbo that can make a lot of boost. For the second-generation cars, the Mitsubishi engineers wanted to increase turbo response, so they selected a smaller turbocharger than makes less peak boost. Automatic cars (both old and new) also got smaller turbos. To get the maximum power from 2G and AT cars, you’ll want to upgrade to a larger turbocharger

Copied from Turbo Upgrade (1995+ and AT cars)

1g cars got the 13b for the auto transmissions and the 14b (much better turbo) for the manual. All 2g, both manual and auto, got the t25. The description you have copied is just explaining that if you have 1g auto and a 2g manual or auto you may want to check into getting a bigger turbo. I'm still not quite sure what, if any, question your asking?

yeah man, tell me about it, i'm hating my damn T-25. Definetely need a bigger turbo.

im going with the t50 .. ive read alot about it and i love it ...

again vendors if u want to make money pm me with a package ..

for some reason my other thread got locked .. and im still seeking goodies for my GSX

so once again bundles and deals are welcomed from vendors ...

im currently located overseas .. do u think i want to pay hundreds on phone calls ???

thats why we have internet and emails hellooo

Then email them with a list of parts and ask prices.

trust me i did , and thats what i have been doing for the past couple of days .. vendor after vendor and yet no reply . and thats why i started going here and poping new threads to grab their attention :(

gsx951 damn bro and i thought i had low milage LOL ..

i cant wait till i have this beast unleashed ..:) :dsm:

Could you give me a link to that, im in the midst of goin from autmatic to a manual myself and could use some guidlines or directions. Its not that the automatic is bad its just manual transmission is just tons more fun.:thumb:

but i always wanted to get the hks .. i had a friend who had it and man it sure sounded soo amazing ..

should i go 3" all the way will that kill the pressure Damn now im lost ...

love that intercoooler kit daaaym and sure it goes for s decent price .. GOD BLESS

Just so you know you don't need back pressure for turbo cars...sooooo in other words 3" will be fine, you will just flow more exhaust which means better turbo spool.

sorry man ive been inthe domestic market for a while now :)

i just got my quote for all the parts im looking fwd on getting .. kinda excited too :)

I was just looking through some of the info on this thread and I noticed something about a contennial timing belt in a package timing belt kit. I wouldn't touch that car with anything other than OEM equipment or better. HKS makes a great belt. Its a little high on price, but I'd say it worth it.

only OEm belts bro .. no after market .. inthat area ...

and the Saga Continues , i ended up Tunning the SRT8 and leaving the DSM inthe Cold . but look at the bright side its almost winter here in kuwait and its a sweet thing for a forced induction ..
