Ricky is a good guy and parts out a bunch of cars, he might be able to help you or point you to another source.

Just in case you were wondering it isn't required and can be eliminated if you choose

A hose. ROFL

To delete, you'd simply need a clutch line that runs from the joint on the car-side opposite of the hose shown on the black bracket to the slave cylinder. It removes that unit you have pictured, the accumulator, altogether.

Check the links below.

The first 4 years of dsms were like this. Its fine. I do not have a puck clutch and certainly not an unsprung one. It's not a big deal. If you were originally looking for a replacement because your accumulator is damaged I wouldn't bother. New line and be done with it under 25$

There is a tiny release valve under banjo bolt in slave cylinder. If you also remove it, you would probably feel it a bit more direct.
I read a dsm rally team once drilled that plate out a little larger once they figured out what that plate does. Funny thing was they were desperately trying to change gearing and avoid the 20k expense for a Groupe n trans. At the time evo stuff was probably available but nobody was talking about that. This was in the 90s.

I think the idea of drilling and removing would probably be the same. I removed it about 10 years ago, so far I haven't seen any issues, still have the same cylinders and line. I remember that I felt the difference. That made the engagement a bit more direct/harsh but solved the shifting issue at high rpm that I was struggling with. Also it made the engagement point on clutch pedal further from floor.

They only opened it up a few thousandths if I recall. The article was like 1992 1993 somewhere.
