So i changed my plugs and wires last night due to the car starting to spudder. while doing so 2 wires boits broke leaving the plastic on the spark pkugs. so i get all pulled out and cleaned up and finish the job. the firing order and wires are all correct as well. the problem is now the car will start and rev up to like 1500-2000rpms then just dies after about 2 seconds. This is on a 98 eclipse gst. please help me.

Got it figured out I believe. The moron who owed it before me broke the clips that hold the cam angle sensor harness on. So it pretty much slides right off. Replaced it and runs good now.
Two wires broke, did you fix it or cleaned it up, cleaned up what? sounds like whatever you did was probably related to what you recently did. Do you have spark?

By cleaned up i ment removing all the plastic and rubber out of the spark plug hole.i do have spark and the car starts and runs for like 2 seconds then dies.

Are you saying that the plug wire boots came apart? Did you not get a new set of plug wires? If not than they are just arcing to the metal inside the plug wells.

Ya i put new plugs and wires on it.

I bought this car like a month ago its all riced out and hasn't been taken care of. I'm mechanicly inclined and have done plugs and wires before, but this is the first time the boot has ripped and wire pulled out leaving the plastic sleeve in the plug well still. I just can't figure out what could have happened from changing plugs and wires the is now making the car not run. It did run before had but ran like crap.

if you took off your fuel rail by any chance there goes your problem. looks like a fuel related issue to me. do what the wise man say. check your fuel. injectors seated in properly? fuel pump. listen or test and see if fuel pump is still kicking in or did it kick the bucket. check fuel
