Hello

Can a 1g engine use 2g balance shafts? I'm gonna plan to remove them later, just don't have time or the kit now. According to my resoucres, should be able too. Thansk

Honestly if you are going through all the work of swapping them, get rid of them.

Leave the front one installed (so it blocks the oil holes), put some washers between the sprocket and the case and tighten it down so it doesn't move, and spend $12 at Mistu to get the Mirage stubby shaft for the oil pump. Voila, a balance shaft elimination that will cost you $12 plus the cost of a few washers.

Can't i just remove both balance shafts and cap up the holes? Find a bolt for the left hole and cut end of shaft off too fit in right hole?
