You're still trying to compare other turbos to a 20g though. Lol. I'm not knocking the FP20g at ALL!!! All I'm saying is that I KNOW the BR20g performs. And while others may wanna fork out money and not know how it performs next to a proven turbo, I'd prefer to spend money on something that works.....but make it work better than anyone else. I'd love to try it out of course at a good discount though. :D

So where does the peformance show itself. Only in track results? If that were the case then we would all be sticking with the 14b. That point was already made. Yea. I'm comparing the 20g to the 14b and all the other turbos out there. What does the 20g do? nothing. it is just a compressor. The turbine determines the results, time and time again. And all the td06 turbines flow more. I'll stick with a tdo5h turbine once the average joe makes 450whp with it. Other wise, I'll not use that hotside to psuh the 500whp compressor that the 20g is.

That all depends on the person buying the turbo, and the intended purpose they're buying it for. Hell, personally, I "might" just go back with an E16g again cause it can still put down plenty of power, spool really quick, and half the cost. But that's just me and I'm kinda undecided.

Amen!

To me though, it's kind of strange that some would pay $500 for a 16g because some have made 450whp with it. Then have to go buy a JMF SMIM, FP race manifold, and an external gate setup; when they could have paid for a $1000 fp 20g and and stuck with the stock manifolds and maybe even get away with an internal gate and still made 450whp. It's still MHI parts/durability and a VERY easy install of one major part. And overall more cost effective. The spool isn't very much different between a 16g and a td06sl2-20g. But yes there are turbos that cost less than the 20g and little more than the evo3 16g that can do better than the 20g. . .

If your FINAL goal is up to 400whp, then running an evo3 16g is a no-brainer.
