an i will be getting the inlet and outlet ported and the td06h turbine and the 90 elbow weld ontop of that....so it should bolt right up correct??? or do i have to get anything else???? cause i will but i need to no LOL:mad:

help please:thumb:

If you get the elbow welded on and have the Greddy kit that uses the stock LICP then it will bolt on. I would search around though or go for a 50 trim. That is going to be over $1000 for that turbo when it's all said and done and you can pick up a SBR G50 for $799.

yeah but is it worth it for the 20 g or can i put more options on another turbo an get the same hp out of it? i got a 1200 doller limit an im tryin to get the most bang for my buck but i want a direct bolt on... is there another turbo i can buy and get ported out an give me the more avaliable hp then a 20g thats ported??

It's bigger but you aren't going to just bolt it on and go. Your gonna need something besides an SAFC2 to tune for 680cc injectors, gonna need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or tuning will be impossible. You will wanna look into a better clutch as well. There are a lot of things you need before you can just bolt on a 20g or 50 trim and go. Follow the tech guide as for as what mods you need before others.

I wouldn't say my TD06H-20g is a slouch as far as spooling up goes by any means (boost at 3700-3900rpm w/ FP2 cams), its just a fact of life going bigger. Unfortunately the 20g turbos cost as much as they do, but I really don't think your gonna find anything better on pump gas at the same price unless you go with a BB PTE 50-trim. I would say look for a used 18g/20g from somone reputable if your pinching pennys and using the extra $$ for more mods, tuning is always gonna keep you happy/mad with whatever you got.

The trim size is determined by the wheels inside the turbo (don't know the equation right off hand though). This PTE 5031E (50 trim) has a similar hp output to the 20g your looking at from what I've seen if your looking to stay with a new turbo and under 1K:

Overall, I'd have to say looking back, that my B16g was a great start, but I wish I would have started with a 20g or the 50-trim turbo listed above. Just make sure you have your exhaust, fuel mods, clutch, IC, and a way for you to tune your setup, no matter what turbo you go with and you should be set. Good luck :dsm: :talon: :laser:

k im definatly gettin somewhere im understandin trim...but whats the differance with the
T3/T4 turbos cause the one i saw on dsmotorsports.com seems to be real tempting for less more but more power??? is there somethin odd wit T3/T4 turbos...do they need differant manifold or anything then stock???

Turbonetics T3/T4E Turbochargers $775

Compressor - T04E 60 Trim

Turbine Wheel - Stage V

Turbine Housing - .82 AR

I love my 20g I hit full spool well before 3000 rpms, running 15psi. It runs best at around 20 but can handle a lot higher.
