Edmonton,
hey guys, well i need some major help here, two bolts (2 to the far left) are missing that fo into my exhaust manifold, to my engine. i am gonna be changing my turbo and throwing in a fmic next week, and i wanna get some bolts in there cause its a TERRIBLE leak. anyways, whats the best way to do this, and what are the main advantages of getteing better bolts and stuff.
oh yeah, almost forgot, i have a stripped bolt that bolts in my throttle body elbow, what should i do about that one? thanks for all the help in advance.

I think you will find that the exhaust manifold attached to the head using studs and nuts not bolts. You not missing them they just broken off and the rest os the stud is still in the head. You can expect to break a few more in the process of removing the manifold and if you don't replace them all you could break a few more reinstalling it.

You have three choices for replacement, stock, stainless steel, ARP.
The stock replacement studs, washers, and nuts can be ordered from your local dealer or online. At this point they can be expected to last the lifetime of your car :)

Check the sponsors here for stainless steel studs, washers, and nuts.

ARP makes studs for 4G63's, the good but expensive. FFWD and Summit carry them.

Get yourself two thin nuts thet fit the studs. Once you get your manifold off put the two nuts on the stud and lock them together. The use them to turn the stud out. As long as the broken studs aren't broken off down in the head there is usually enough left to the the nuts on it and turn it out.

On your car, assuming it's an original engine you will need 9 studs all 8mm.
Check you exhaust manifole closely for cracks. The 1G manifolds are well known for it.
