I have a 1997 Talon ESi. I've been reading up on the whole 2.4 bottom end swap from the cloud cars, and it seems like a pretty good deal. I've also noticed that turboing the 420a with the 2.4L bottom end is pretty safe. If I use the bottom end from a 1999 Stratus with Srt4 pistons, rods, and bearings, what would be a good turbo to use that would give me good power, but won't blow my motor up in a week?
Thanks for any feedback

you guys are f'ing awsome,
>>>First my Aim is 8lb Daily i dont need power just enjoyment<<<

welp i DO have two neons one with a 2.4 swap and one with a 2.0 dohc with a srt4 turbo setup, running valvo s70 red turbo injectors begi 2025 rrfpr missing link and walbro. (Spoolboy)
i wanna boost my 97 RS dohc with a 2.4 shortblock, and ported mit 2.0 head.
im not new to the 420a but im sure theres some differences in the two as far as wiring goes the mechanics are the same.
i already have a spare 2.4 short block and srt4 pistons on the way. also i already have the walbro 255, turbo manifold with a garrett ar 42 turbo 8lb wastegate and boost controller...lets just say i have most of the stuff but just wanna clear somethings up before i start.
1. i know you have to rewire some injectors around for a 2.4 swap but if your using the shortblock does it need to be used.
2. what injectors are u refering two? i have a 93 talon tsi also and a extra set of the blue turbo injectors so will those work or no.
3. im reading that you need a fuel cut defender, is this needed for boost? i dont have anything like that on my neon and its a DD. how do you use it?
4. the neons missing link comes in two dif ver which i can tell but i just traded my third neon for this 97 RS, does the RS 97 come with a intergrated map or non intergrated?
5. 12:1 FMU is what im seeing, i have another new begi 2025 rrfpr, has anyone used this and will this be good enough to use?
6 after installing the walbro i know you need a return line for the RRFPR where does the return line go? do i just make a spot i havnt found help on that yet.

thanks guys i cant wait to get this boost app started usually wont take me long if i get the info i right time.
