Good for you, way to tell it like it is.:thumb: You'll probably get banned for it, but then you'll understand why I hate the DSM community. My name is HONDAstylez for a reason.

And that is exactly why you're getting flack. Why expect people to waste their time typing to you and explain everything, when you aren't showing the effort to go out and learn concepts on your own? No one in their right mind would waste their time doing this: :beatentodeath: . Questions like these are like beating down a dead horse.......it's already dead, there is no point. They have been explained and there are even sometimes pictures helping you along the way.

Here, I'll help you with your quest for 750hp. Just copy what's in this attached picture. Let me know if this is out of your price range.

Wow that's really shinny, and we all know that shinny means expensive and powerful. How fast is YOUR car and what makes you think you're in a place to tell him anything about 700+hp cars?

Let me break it down for you 2.

Rule #4: Common or Repetitive Questions
Be sure you've done research on the question before you ask. This site has been around a while now, and most of the basic questions and topics posted by newbies have already been covered here and in other DSM resources. Nobody wants to answer the same questions over and over again. We've put together a list of links that should answer 95% of all DSM questions you might have in one of these areas. Read through them before posting a question:

Frequently Answered DSM Questions Forum
Tech Guide & Upgrade Paths
Parts Catalogs
Forums Keyword Searches
How to Use the Search Feature Effectively

Read through those links and use the Search function (linked above) to find the information you're looking for before you post a thread. If you ask a question that is clearly answered in the FAQ Forum you'll be given a warning and asked to research before you post. If the moderators come across two or more discussions about the same topic the threads will be merged together. This is done to keep the forums clean and to ensure the Search function works better.

Rule #1: No Personal Attacks, "Trolling", or Flame Wars
No personal attacks, period. This means that you are not to insult, harrass, belittle, threaten, accuse, or spread slander about another member, person, shop, website, etc. Nor are you to post a topic that is meant to attract flaming (we call this trolling). This applies to all public posts, private messages and email. Public complaints and accusations are not welcome here.
No Trolling. A "troll" is a person who posts content for the sole purpose of baiting someone into a confrontation - they do this for entertainment, to make themselves feel more adequate, and to get attention. It can be blatant or subtle. Do not reply to troll-like threads. If a message is posted that looks like the person is trying to get a rise out of someone, just report it and move on. The best remedy for keeping trolls away is just ignoring them. Do not reply to their baiting messages. Ignore them and they will go away and take their senseless agendas with them. Take the bait and they will stick around and keep posting.

No Flame Wars. A flame war is where a debate ends and an emotional argument begins. The intention is to get the last word in. Though it might not contain personal attacks the people involved are rarely civil and end up disrupting the discussion in progress with their back-and-forth banter. These arguments will be removed from the discussion.

This site should be a friendly place to interact with other enthusiasts. All hostile posts will be removed and those members will be warned/suspended/banned depending on the severity of the violation.

Rule #2: Use Common Sense
Be respectful of all other members, especially those who have been here longer and have contributed to our site. Respect is earned by the quantity and quality of your contributions. Inappropriate behavior will bring about moderator intervention. Do not attempt to publicly challenge or insult a moderator or a moderation decision. Use the private message feature or email and contact the moderator who handled the situation to get things resolved or take it up with the Site Administrator.

Keep the BS out of the forums. This includes but is not limited to; spam, self promotion, commercial posts (see our Vendor Policy), group buy posts, Carfax requests, politics, war, religion, nudity (hot chick threads), racism, drugs, street racing, illegal activities, bench racing, relationship discussions, post-whoring, misinformation, flame wars, etc - especially in the Tech Forums where we're a little more strict.

We will warn, suspend and ban people for unruly behavior. If your participation on our site is deemed disruptive to the overall site atmosphere you may lose your posting privileges. Use good judgement and everything should be fine.

theres no point in asking the question if you reasearch it and get the answer, maybe google isnt cuttin it for me, maybe someone will jus tell me a few opinions instead of you guys telling me i cant do it after you said its been done so many times, maybe you could tell your buddy who HAS built one to give me a few pointers sinse theres so many... w.e this site blows i dont even care anymore, maybe in a few years when you guys see me in a car show ill have my old forum name up there so u can see how dumb u feel when you think back and say oh s**t didnt we say he couldnt do it and wen you come up to shake my hand ill slap you... hahahaha you people suck im outta here

You're in the newb forum, asking what parts will get you to 750hp while listing a turbo that clearly will not hit that number. Also, you either swapped the block and crank around or you didn't know how to put together (in words) a 2.1L. You asked for advice. These guys gave you their opinions on the matter, according to your first post. Lastly, you asked if your block will need to be bored to create a 2.3 stroker, which you originally didn't know how high it could rev. If you plan on building something this big, you shouldn't need to post this thread, since there have been oh so many before it.

Simply put, just do research before posting. Better yet, make sure when you post, it's not something you can find with two clicks of a mouse and some typing.

And you're really intelligent yourself. "You can't rev that high unless it's balanced nearly perfectly." Since when does balance have anything to do with the reason strokers can't rev, what happend to piston speed and rod ratio? Don't act like you know something when you clearly don't. Putting people down is easy, actually making a useful and helpful post isn't.

To the OP and Hondastylez:

What everyone is getting at, is that it takes an incredible amount of money, time, and willpower to reach those goals. Not saying the OP doesn't have those, but lets take a look at Shep, for example.

His car is the epitome of fast in a non-tubbed DSM. And even Rau, with his tubbed DSM. Both are pushing ridiculous amounts of power which are only shadowed by the type of money it takes to do those things they do. If it was so easy to get to that level, then plenty of DSM'rs would be there. And if it was easy to push past that, wouldn't Rau and Shep have already done it?

Now for my rant.

To the OP: If you're such an educated technician, then you should obviously know what it takes to attain those goals. So why ask? Go do it. And yeah, it's not hard to search. The reason why you're asked to search IS because topics have been beaten to death. The info is out there. Not out in the vast black hole known as the intardnet, but just www.dsmtuners.com. So it's not hard to find. You've just gotta use that intellectually advanced brain of yours to find it. Oh, and if you're in a kool kar sho, and you make those goals, no one will care. And you shouldn't care if others do either. Do I care that my car's dogg slow? Nope. All I care is that it's mine, and I'm doing things the right way when it comes to upgrades.

To Hondastylez: You complain that DSM'rs are all arrogant idiots that think they know their sh*t about cars. The fact of the matter is that it's gonna be that way in any automotive scene you mingle in. And you criticize the nay-sayers for not contributing to the thread, but you don't produce any valuable information either. All you're doing is adding more fuel to the e-flames. So why don't you do the OP, as well as us, a favor, and 'GTFO" as you like to say it.

O. As already stated, EVERY question asked is repetative. This is why I hate DSMers, they're a bunch of ignorant hardasses that think they're better than everyone else.

If you don't like the DSM community you can GTFO of our forum. None of your posts in theis thread have been related to the thread topic. You are just bashing other people and this sites policies. Again if you don't like them leave. Alot of people step into the forum asking about 600,700,800HP. Maybe 1 of 1000 people actually gets there. The OP says he doesn't have the money to "bank roll" a Supra yet is going to spend at least that on this build. Then in typical fashion he comes up with the defense of "my next car is going to be a 1,000 HP supra." Ya right. We've seen it all before.
