I'm new to dsm and have oil spitting out of my exhaust. Looking at the engine I have oil in my spark plugs and a fist size oil spot on the front drivers side corner of the engine below the seal. Any ideas where to start? Have little time on my hands and want to try and find the issue as quickly as possible. Anything helps, thank you

Oil in the exhaust would likely be bad valve seals. Piston rings & cylinder walls could be suspect too but highly unlikely unless it's high mileage (at least 200k).
The oil in your spark plug tubes is coming from the tube seals, which will come in a valve cover gasket kit as they should all be replaced at once.

Which seal? The oil pan gasket? Main seal? I mean if you can see which one it's coming from then you know what to replace there. If you're unsure it could just be running down from the valve cover. And if your piston rings are bad then you'll have excess crankcase pressure and the valve cover gasket will leak a very unhealthy amount.

Agree with compression and leak down tests. If those come back as healthy then you probably just need some regular maintenance items.

Valve cover gasket, pcv and spark plug tube seals are the replacements I just made. Everything seemed to be running better and no more exhaust issues but after the test drive a light smoke was coming through the defrost vents. Popped the hood andore came out but unable to identify the origin.

Sounds like it's leaking onto the downpipe. I would check the oil pressure sensor on the backside of the block to make sure it hasn't come loose or broken. And check the oil pan gasket too while you're there

It might just be old oil buildup burning off of the hot exhaust, touching the exhaust with greasy hands will cause that, give it a good thirty minutes or so of driving to quit smoking from that.
