I am new to DSM's so I'm asking questions before I just do things. I have a 91 auto GST with a grenaded tranny....can I swap a 92 auto from a non turbo GS? Common sense tells me it should work just fine. Any input? Thanks.

CAPS lists 2 different part numbers. It will bolt up for sure. Before doing so, I would compare them side by side as well as the torque converters if you have access to both of them.

Im guessing it should work fine but I dont think it would last. I dont think the N/T tranny was made to handle the stress and power from a turbo engine. Maybe someone with more experience can clear this up better. I would say not to do it though, cause later on I believe you would have to switch it out again.

I have access to the everything seeing as to how its still in the n/t and the car hasn't been parted out yet. My GST is stock and I plan on just daily driving it til I find a good turbo trans to build before installing...and by daily I mean back and forth to work
