Auto to manual transmission swap

I am looking at getting a 97 eclipse gsx automatic. But I want a manual and haven't been able to find one. So my question what do I all need to swap to a manual and how difficult/ expensive will it be ? I saw there is a guy in here with a manual tranny and everything I think I will need from a 95 talon. Will this work? I can't contact him because I'm a newbie tho.

If your refering to the recent classifieds post *manual/awd swap* yes that should be all you need.Most people are wanting to swap to an auto setup to handle more power.
You should be able to send the seller a pm. There is a blue and black word Bubble just under the sellers name use that link.
If you do go that route you should have no problem selling your auto stuff

If my stuff would work and vice-versa (and I could afford the downtime) Id trade you all my manual running gear haha. it's a bi*** trying to find an auto awd trans and associated parts around my area.
