1ga to a 1gb?

It's possible to do the swap just kinda pricey, unless you have a 1gb laying around somewhere. I have a 89 tsi and a 92 and I love my pop ups.

And to your question: no, it is not overly difficult to do the actual conversion as nearly everything is interchangeable (switching out of cosmetic pieces). Like said above, finding the pieces may be challenging. Depends on your luck factor.

I'm in the same boat as DSM kidd, because body parts for the 1GA is getting hard to find Vs the 1GB

1Gb had different door guards than the "a's". Rear end wouldn't be so tough, but the front end requires headlight assembly, front bumper cover, lower valances, fenders and hood.

1ga front+ 1gb rear +..Total 1ga to 1gb conversion=negatory....

AG 305 the tails are not a direct swap over..1ga tails are straight across and 1gb have a turn down in the corner..So the bumper has to be swapped as well..
