Hi guys I have a guy that wants to sell me a 1g turbo throttle body. The only problem is that he says it has an "imperfection" in the bore meaning that there is a 1/8th in. by 10 thousandths in. deep "blemish". Is this something that would affect performance or should I not worry about it? He is definately cutting me a deal because of this so if I will not notice any performance losses becasue of it I would definately like to grab it.

Thanks!

Awesome thanks guys! Now my other question...He says that it doesnt come with any of the sensors. Can I just use my 2g TB sensors on the 1g? Do they just transfer over or do I need to find another 1g for parts?

Odd how it's a mirror of itself past the line. That is before the butterfly plate correct? It doesn't look that bad, but you *could* just get some jb weld and fill it if you wanted to, just smooth it down after it's dry.

That's because it is the mirror image as seen in the throttle plate.;) Looks like it has the half shaft mod done to it.

OP, since the defect is at the location of the throttle plate (when closed) it is going to affect idle, but can't say how much. It will allow a bit of air by when the throttle plate is closed in turn raising the idle. Most likely you will be able to compensate for it with the BISS (turning it in/clockwise to decrease idle if necessary).

Your TPS and ISC motor will swap over just fine.
