Will a 1st gen radiator fit a 2nd gen the reson Im asking is because I got a Dn performance manifold part # dnp 37 and it is in the way of the upper radiator hose . The manifold was designed for a 1g and they dont tell you this until you already have it and it doesnt fit.

MOD EDIT: They are the same size (dimensionally), but are not directly interchangeable. However, it can be made to fit with little modfication. See post #28 for more details.

A stock1g radiator in a 2g is easier to use in a 2g than the stock spyder radiator.

All idid to my 1g radiator was cut the rubber pegs of the bottom with some tin snips. Then dropped the radiator in and bolt in the top mounts.

And, what did you have to do to fit a, spyder radiator in a 2g?

What rubber pegs?

Are you referring to the plastic mounting pegs? If so, it sounds like you have nothing at all holding it in place at the bottom, right?

The bottom and top mounting points for the Spyder radiator would fit perfectly in place on any 2G. It doesn't get any easier than that.

I originally switched to the 1G radiator because my T4 header and wastegates were in the path of the upper hose with a centered outlet 2G radiator.

I have the same issue.. what year did you buy from the 1g or does it really matter as long as its from a turbo 1g?
