Resolved 1G oil pressure gauge replacement

ok so my stock oil pressure gauge stopped working, problem in dash not sender. is is possible to just run a wire from the sender to an electrical oil pressure gauge? if not can i just replace the stock sender with the sender that comes with some replacement gauges?

Senders are matched to the gauges. An aftermarket gauge will require its own sender.

so i can just replace the stock sender and it wont affect anything?
