Have you tried opening that .csv file in notepad. Make a copy, rename the copy to a .txt extension, then open in notepad or Wordpad. You may have to go into the file browser window's "Tool/Folder Options" pulldown, click the "View" pane, and scroll down and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types". Otherwise, you can't see or change the extension. The other option is to right click over the file and "Open with" notepad.
CSV stands for comma separated values, so it might just be a text file. Don't know, but it's worth a try.
