Hello everyone on DsmTuners I have a 1g dsm fwd auto turbo. I was wondering if there was any FMIC that would fit with out modding it much. The auto tranny is alot bigger or different design than the 5speed tranny the reason i asked is beacause i bought a punishment racing fmic and the piping on the cool side thats going into the intake didnt fit right so i would either have to mod it or buy a fmic that works for the car. Just wondering what everyone with 91 dsm auto's are running for FMIC and also do you leave the tranny cooler in the same place or would you have to relocate or should i salet this kit and go super side mount from dejon tool?

I have an old school SSAC long route kit on mine that i got real cheap. It fits fine with the auto tranny. I have a tranny cooler on the driver side.
Why don't you just mod your piping instead of getting a whole new kit?

thanks for the info well i was thinking about that I have a friend thats going to start fabbing it now but I wanted to make sure if there was a better kit or about the same that would work better without cutting and welding the pipe but i guess thats what ill let him do since there isnt much of a choice unless sold the kit and got long route but I really like the short route it just those damn auto trannys make it a lil hard so ill just have him fab it. thanks again
