Ok heres the deal, I did a auto to manual swap in my 93 eclipse fwd

i think i might of installed the clutch pedal spring wrong possibly.

Before i installed the clutch slave when you would press the clutch pedal down a certain amount it would spring down on the floor and stay there, ALmost like the spring is backwords or something. I Then hooked up the slave cylinder and clutch line, filled the master cylinder and it still does the same thing. ALthough i havent bled the clutch system yet because im not sure if the pedal is installed properly.

The pedal will spring back up when u press the pedal down about 1/6th the way down, But past that point it will spring to the floor and stay on the floor. Is my spring backwards?

Ive talked to a few guys and a couple have said its installed wrong, But a few guys also have said its installed properly and it should spring to the floor.

Whats the deal? is it right or wrong?

Could anyone get me some pictures of the spring on the pedal assembly? Help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks as always guys!

You have it on correctly. That is how the clutch pedal feels when the clutch hydraulics are not hooked up or bled out all the way.
