My passenger side seat belt stopped working a while back and I cannot seem to fix it. Today I tried putting in another motor and rail, this still did not fix the problem. My fuse is good, I don't believe there are separate fuses for each seat belt, just one for both of them.
Today I noticed this wire that was not connected behind the motor (circled in red) is this of any importance? I cannot seem to find anywhere it would connect to. I would appreciate any help with this, it's very annoying for passengers to get in my car and the seat belt not move for them

Apparently I had a bad sensor inside the door, it's located next to the door lock mechanism, it tells the seat belt when the door is completely shut. It was a real pain in the a** to replace this thing because it requires taking all the door locking pieces out! (and reinstalling them of course)
My seat belt still wouldn't do anything.
I would take it to a Mitsubishi dealer, but unfortunately there aren't any around here
