The best fluids for most application OEM is the way to go. Diaqueen is the brand. "after market" brands may not be designed for our cars so be careful if you dont use oem.

for an auto transmission there is a dipstick at the rear passenger side of the engine you can use to fill it. should have a level indicator to tell you when to stop.

For manuals you will have to dig a bit deeper and go under the car and find the oil fill plug omn the tranny. it should be on the front drivers side of the tranny and about half way up. run a hose above the engine from the plug on the tranny for easy refill. once it starts over flowing out of the tube or the plug its full.

the actual filling must be done when the car is down and on relatively flat surface.

Since Chrysler loved to put felt lined syncros in their trannies, other fluids will eat those syncros up pretty bad. Any fluid with a FM (friction modifier) contained in the fluid to work with those felt lined syncros.

Why the holler for ATF+4 fluid ...

Too bad you didn't have a Honda .. they use plain ol' 5w30 motor oil in their manual trannies.
