1997 4g63t swap to 98...what to do about the cam sensor

so i have a 97 gst and i am putting a motor in it from a 98 but the cam sensors are different...what is the best way to fix this?thanks guys

No they aren't, the cam sensors between 97-99 are the same so no modifications need to be done. It's possible he had a 6-bolt engine in his '98, but if its a legit '98 CAS then its the EXACT same as your '97.

alright thanks i will look at it again tonight...im still working on gettin the new motor in but it does have 264 cams if that makes adifference but im new to the dsm thing ive always had mustangs haha

hard wire it!!!! i couldnt find a block for my car so i got one out of a dodge neon and the 3 sensors on the block are different from my block so i hard wired them!!!!! and it runs just fine!!!!!
