Great update. A LOT of progress has been made.Just like that, another 18 months or so has past. I finally bought a set of Feal coilovers and threw them on the car to replace the worn out KYBs. I then proceeded to get an alignment and tore the whole thing apart for what turned into a 4+ month paint job to include body work, a thousand hours of sanding to make it as straight and flat as possible, paint and then another million hours of wet sanding, buffing and polishing.
The paint job took a lot of work (my first one) and then life happened again. The valve cover had to be reworked since one of the fittings was slightly touching the hood. This wasn’t noticeable with the old crusty paint but with the new finish it stuck out like a sore thumb.
Today I found myself installing a battery and starting this thing back up. I have a lot of trim and finish pieces to get back on the car but hopefully she starts here in a couple hours.
Here’s a few pictures of the progress, one day I’ll be done…… nah that’ll probably never happen
