I'm looking to run 20 - 25 PSI on my daily driver with the Greddy 18g Turbo Kit. I'm hopeful to get somewhere around 350 HP. I have stock injectors and FIC 850cc. I also have DSMLink V2 and will be starting to play with it soon. Should I try and trade for 650cc or 550cc injectors? I think with my goals the 850cc injectors are over kill.

Well since you already have DSMlink i would just keep them. But before you turn it up do you have any other fuel mods such as fuel pump and a afpr? If not those should be the next things to buy before you turn up the boost.

Not really sure on the pump and FPR. I am going to have to take it out and look to see if its a wally or stock. I just bought the car a few days ago and I have no clue. I would guess it does since it has the 850's. I don't think a stock would be able to push that much fuel. But he still had stock plugs and wires so who knows. :ohdamn:

If you have not bought the Greddy 18G kit yet, I suggest you save your money. The Greddy turbo is nothing special- TD05H turbine with an 18G compressor. The FP HTA68 has more potential and costs about half the price.

Actually, you can get nearly the same potential as the Greddy 18G out of an Evo III 16G at 1/3rd the price or less. That leaves a lot in your pocket for other modding.

The kit came installed on the car with about 500 miles on it. I paid $2500 for the car with a Greddy FMIC kit, Greddy Type S BOV, and a brand new 2.3L stroker. The previous owner needed the money and didn't want to mess with DSMLink. Can't feel bad about that.

Make sure you get a good tune going on if you install those 850's or you'll wipe out that stroker in about 500 miles.

The #1 killer of fresh engines is too much fuel due to a bad tune. Guys will upgrade everything at once, and start driving the car as soon as it's running....not realizing that their air/fuel ratio is about 5:1. A few hundred miles of unburnt fuel passing the rings and entering the crankcase (blending with the oil) and you'll start to hear rods knocking.

You're better off driving the car with the 450's and 10psi of boost for a while until you get used to tuning with DSMLink before you drop in the 850's and give it hell.

Thanks a ton for that info. I've got a A/F Ratio gauge that I will keep a close eye on. I'm going to start off with the 450's and very little boost til I get the tuning part figured out.

If it's not a wideband, it's worthless...especially at wide-open throttle. I've seen A/F gauges read lean when the exhaust was rich and heavy enough to burn your eyes.
