16G upgrade install help

Hey all,
Decided on buying a used 16g from the dsm classifieds. great prices and even greater possibilities that way.
I have a 2g eclipse and i know i need an install kit, but what exactly will need to be changed. I guess i just don't understand what the install kit does exactly.

It's not direct bolt on because of my flange type?
What type is my stock t25 turbo?
What type is a 16g turbo?
Would this be solved by using a different turbo manifold?

It will bolt to the manifold just fine. An install kit usually includes new gaskets, a new oil feed line, it may include a new oil drain line but if it doesn't your stock one can be modified to bolt to the 16G, a j-pipe since the outlet of the 16G will point up and your t-25 outlet is on the bottom and facing the passenger side, you will also need to bend your turbo water lines a bit so that they fit around the 16G.

So really it bolts on like anything else, just slight mods to the lines and such...So why does everyone make a big deal about it?

Not trying to be a ass or anything but SOADweskey said all the reasons why everyone makes a install kit for it. If you need more info go to vfaq not for anything search and read before you buy anything. You are going to have to upgrade your fuel system if you want to run this turbo like i think you do...
