so i heard u can block off the coolent lines on the 16g, is that true? Also do u think it will overheat and burn up?

You can, I'm sure it will cause it to prematurely wear out a lot faster than running it how it is supposed to be which is with coolant lines. They wouldn't be there if they weren't needed...
At least get a turbo timer or let it cool down if you do.
Its lucky to get oil changes.)My 1990 TSi AWD had a "Warning: This vehicle is equipped with a turbocharger" label on the visor that had instructions on how to shut down the car. Pretty cool actually. I'm not sure why they quit putting those labels in DSM's.
