I just finished with my big 16g turbo swap and everything went mostly fine and fired up perfectly, but i am leaking oil. I found out it was leaking from the oil feed line and tried to just slip some rubber hose and zip tie it down so i could at least test drive it, but no luck. What should i do to fix this/what should i buy to replace this????:cry::banghead:

What oil feed are you running?

Replace the crush washers, unless the line itself is bust, then you just need to find a new one.

Or a good used 1g line.

I have a spare one from my 14b cleaned and painted but didn't end up using it.. Pm bout that if u want it cheap.

If the hole is small enough, clean it and put some J-B weld. That would do a nice patch until u switch it. Will def last a while from what I've seen it do.

I use an SS line I got from Ebay. I feed from the OFH with one very similar to this. The one in the link seems to be too short to feed from there, but would probably work from the head.

That's not a bad idea, i might have to do that, but i would rather use the line from the head, so if anyone knows where to get an ss line with the head as an oil source let let me know.

As for the guy with the 14b line, it won't fit but thanks, other wise my problems would be solved. (my old 14b line did not have a big enough screw, for some reason the 16gs use bigger screws on almost all of the coolant/oil lines)

The SS kit on Extremepsi is for the head.

^ That's not a bad deal! OP, if I were you I'd go with that kit. The 14b and 16g should have the same oil feed line size, just different coolant lines.

Pretty sure that isn't true. 14b and 16gs use the exact same CHRA.

Yea, i may not have had a 14b, the compressor cover was a TD04HL, if that means anything to any of you guys. But, trust me, the banjo type screws with holes in the center were too small for my new big 16g, for sure (not knockin' ya or anythin' but just telling yea what happened).

I was reading up on Head vs. OFH, and based on what Justin (JusMX141) said, I will go with the head because i am almost certain i have no BS's and the OFH gives off too much pressure and that is entirely unnecessary for my B16g.

That was a 13g (TD04HL)
