I just installed an evo3 16g on my 1g auto and I wasn't going to get a new oil return line because I didn't see the need and when I put the turbo on I didn't have any trouble with fitmit(sp?) as far as the oil return line goes but then I read this on machv.com:
"Oil Return Line Hardpipe - So you need to replace the hardpipe too? These will often break at the flex section causing a leak. Simply select the engine that you have 6 bolt or 7 bolt and you'll be good to go! OEM parts for the 1g 5 speed DSMs using the Mitsubishi center section turbos.
Not for automatics if you still have the TD04 turbo."
If its stock for a 5 speed and isn't for the TD04 then doesn't that mean that the TD04 has a different oil return line from the TD05's?
