Was up DSMers, I have a few questions that I know have already been answered and yea I did look up info on my own but now I’m a bit confused.
I’ll start by saying that I installed a s16g currently on stock fuel pump, fpr and injectors also stock boost so my question is if it ok to drive (speed limit of course).

Now before anyone bashes on me on why is everything stock for a 16g I recently bought AFPR and will be buying a 255 pump and yes the pump is rewired. As for injectors I want to go 550/560cc but I might have a good deal on some 650s. But I’m not sure what I should use to tune. So my other question is will I be able to have a decent tune with an SAFC or should I just go with tactrix

ECMlink is out of my budget for now and I’m pretty sure I have a 98/99 ECU
 
You can have a tuner do it for you. If you're going to do it yourself ECMlink is awesome, it's the only tuning software I've used so my opinion comes with limited experience.

I have a b16g on stock fuel right now. It's fine. I believe the stock fuel system can support around 15psi of boost safely.
 
You'll be fine under 15psi, the stock ecu will probably trigger fuel cut if you go any higher

You can upgrade the fuel pump and regulator and injectors, but the stock ecu is going to think your still stock and still hit fuel cut above 15 psi

You will need to trick the ecu with the safc, or change to a black box ecu from a 98-99 car and have a tuner use evoscan to change the ecu peramaters for fuel and air.

If you are going to use an safc you will need a wideband afr gauge to monitor your air fuel ratio.
 
Xarzor-ok thank but I’ll keep it stock until I know I can somehow tune..as far as link it’s getting harder to find a 95 ECU and most still need repair.. so that’s kind of why I’m leaning on tactrix.. unless I find a good deal on an ECU I’ll go with link

I have an AFR and Boost but I don’t want to mess with the fuel nor the boost just so I’m able to move it..I need to make sure which ECU I have but I’m sure it’s the 98/99 black box

Check the classifieds. I see several 95 ECU and black box ECU for sale all the time.
