14b wastegate actuator

I just purchase a 14b turbo for my 95 gst. I am waiting for the Jpipe and oil Lines then im going to drop it in. I was looking at my turbo today and noticed that the t25 has a little pipe that runs out of the compressor housing, and a vacum line goes between the acctuator and the compressor housing that connects the 2 and runs to the boost solenoid. I looked at my 14b and it dosnt have one. so what is the proper way to hook the wastegate actuator up ?

That "pipe" is on the stock j-pipe.

Are you using a mbc?

if you are getting a j pipe that will go with your SMIC then you might need to attach a little nipple on the J pipe to attach the hose to. you can probly get a welding shop to drill a whole and weld on a nipple. or just drill it yourself and JB weld a nipple on.

I don't mean to threadjack, but my question is along the same lines.

I just purchased a 14b but it doesn't have the actuator with it. Will my t25 actuator work with the 14b in terms of arm length, or will I have to do some modification to it?

I know that my install kit I got from STM has the nipple already on the j pipe...

the wastegate actuator off of a t25 will not bolt up or fab up to a tdo5 turbo, the wga for a 14b/16g are a common part and should only run you about $20.

Thanks gofer. By common part do you mean here in the classifieds or ebay. I'm getting ready to put this thing on, and I need that actuator now that I know I can't re-use my old one.
