14" slim fan

So i just picked up a 14" slim fan, it hasnt gotten here yet but i was just wondering if it will fit with my stock radiator fan? I think its going to be to big and will i be better to just run the 14" fan then? My manifold is already getting hot as is, and this was to replace my ac one that melted... (manifold gets cherry red when i drive like 20-30 min on highway) The weird thing is, the manifold only started getting hot and cherry red when i put the heat sheild BACK ON.... Well, the questions is Stock radiator and 14" fan...fit yes or no? Then ideas why mani and turbo get cherry red with heat sheild on?

yes the slim fan will fit. i have done this before, and my brother rigged it up were the fans run all the time when the engine is on! dont know how he did it!

Yes it will fit and just run the positive to a relay to the batt adn a ground and you should be good.
