PTE 50 Trim, at 15lbs, 880cc injectors with keydriver stage 3. Base timing set at 5'. What could be the problem? o2 sensor voltage is higher 90's. Will running too rich retard timing?

running too rich will not get you all the timing you could get.

u could also add a deg or 2 via the CAS -
get it tuned right first.

Are you sure your knock is only 1-2? When I had a bad case of knock, my car would pull timing into the 8-10* range causing 900C EGTs and .96V O2s.

I don't see how fuel would affect timing as your timing maps are based on airflow/rev and RPM. The only safeguard is the knock sensor which kicks in at > 3KS. BTW.. the O2 does nothing in open-loop mode.

So unless you were running insanely high airflow, had JeffO whip you up a custom timing map, or you were using a S-AFC with massive (+) correction, I think you're getting knock or something's goofed with your CAS / TBelt alignment.

Good article HERE by Kyle Tarry :dsm:

whats wrong with 1-2 counts? thats nothing...

Did you try leaning it out at all?
