Some updates on my build..

Ditched the 3 fuel pumps and went with a Weldon 1100A and a hellcat 525 in-tank pump. First time out with the car on the 42r I couldn’t get the turbo to light up off the line even at 14* ATDC on anti lag... Quickly realized that my valve spring and cam setup wasn’t going to work with the 42R so I swapped over to a 6870 and the spool difference is night and day. While I was testing and figuring the setup out, I ran into some stupid issues with my in tank pump feed causing the car to consistently run lean in boost due to my inline pump back-feeding into my cell. Switched over to a aeromotive brushless 5.0 gpm pump. I was never really a fan of running multiple pumps with no way of having a lean failsafe option with ecmlink.

I also added some safety stuff in as well. 10# novec 1230 Suppression System, Vamos Modular Catch Pan and a burn down tank mounted in the trunk.

Just realized I never came back to post updates and its been 2 years 🤯

2024 was a great year. The car performed great. Raced the 10.5 class and made it to the finals but unfortunately lost to a GTR.

The goal for 2024 was to get the car into the 9s and at the end of the season I made a 9.62 at 151 so that was a huge success.

The failure points on the car in 2024 were the stock rear axles and the stock box transmission. After having a terrible time reliably sourcing stock rear axles, it was time to get DSS axles. So over the winter, along with the axles I added a Frontline Fabrication Girdled Diff Cover, All of Volks rear suspension upgrades, upgraded the tail section of the driveshaft to a 1310, a Rear Driveshaft Loop and a Parachute.

2025 I started the season nuking the stock trans on a street pull. Hit a bump, the suspension unloaded in 2nd gear enough to break the tires loose and dead hook. Wiped out the intermediate shaft and 4th gear

First track outing with the car the Transfer case failed. The output shaft broke ironically hours after Jason Drew warned me about that being a big failure point.

The catch pan saved the day. Not a drop of fluid made it on the track.

Got another transfer case in the car and made it back out in June. On gate, the car went 10.3 at 144, Turned it up some and it went 9.60 at 144 letting out at the 1000' because the car felt unstable.

Didn't take the car out again until the shootout because I had a handful of customers cars in for tunes, Fabrication work and wiring so I was extremely busy.

The shootout was an amazing event. I raced in the 10.5 class again and Saturday night I was sitting number 3 Qualifier and I had the car turned up. My plan is always to get out in front and get on the brakes so in the event I have a bad launch I have plenty of power in the car to run someone down. Unfortunately, E1 of the finals I slipped the Clutch, pulled through the beams and red lit.

I forgot that when you're competing and you red light, you don't get your time on the slip and I ran the car all the way out the back to get a blank slip LOL. Bonus, top of 4th the trans let go.

Got the car back out 2 more times after the shootout with a new goal to get an 8 Second pass. Ended the season with a new personal best with the car of 9.56 at 161

Over the winter I cut the front end off and welded a chromoly front end on the car and upgraded the front suspension to all of Volks front suspension parts and upgraded the T case to a Boostin Built case with a 300m Output shaft, Billet Mid section and Billet Magnus side cover.

The beginning of 2026 we (Oskim Performance) Hosted a Car show at a Local bar that was a great time.

(When I went tube front end, I ordered new headlights and the only headlights they make are for Eclipse bumpers and that leaves a 3 inch gap due to the bumper differences so I had my 3D printing guy print out ducting that takes up the hole and routes air to the Radiator.)

Got the car to the Track in June. With the new T Case I can finally start bringing power in down low and focus more on my short track. Went 9.45 at 163 with a 1.64 60' Made some adjustments to the tune, second pass I cut a 1.57 60' Missed 3rd and still managed to crack off a 9.99 at 5.69
9.99n.jpg

The shootout this year was one of my favorites to date. I competed in the 9.50 Class. Q1 I went a New Personal best of 9.31 at 164. Q2 my vacuum line blew off my BOV mid 3rd gear so I coasted to a 10.8 at like 95 mph. E1 I was up against Andrew Garibaldi in his dialed 1g (in test and tune earlier Sunday he cracked of a 9.50 pass LOL) I got the tree and blew the tires off. He got the 60' and 330'. My car is insane in the back half and somewhere between the 660 and 1000 I came around him with a ridiculous amount of MPH, threw the Chute at the 1000, got on the brakes and still broke out with a 9.4
841283569_18634126492059907_2420602966327335254_n.jpg

Left the tune alone in the car for a good starting point to try and get this 8 second slip. Took the car out for a local test and tune and cracked off a 9.19 at 162 with a terrible launch. Second pass, the rear end had enough and let loose.

Pulling the rear end now. There is one more local event November 1st, weather permitting.

I will report back after that event hopefully with an 8 second time slip.

If you want to follow along outside of here, I mainly post on my instagram d_oskim, my business page on Facebook “Oskim Performance” and post my track outings and “try” to record my winter projects and make them into YouTube edits (no promises on that though because that is extremely time consuming) BoostedDSM on YouTube

Great f'n update, even if it was a couple years overdue. :) Enjoyed reading it. And great solution to the headlight fitment difference! You should offer up the 3D print file for that here:

I’ll reach out to my 3D printing guy and see if he will send it over!

I forgot to mention. The car is still on a stock gear transmission!

I’m fortunate to have my trans builder live 5 minutes from my house and over the last 2 years we have been messing around with shimming the intermediate shaft tighter and well, it’s working great.

Right now, I have roughly 11 passes on the trans with almost all of them being 150+ mph passes at 55psi out of a 6870.
