This all started with a dual cup holder early last year. When I get done here engine bay is next.

Im happy with the shape. Mirroring done, time for layers that bolt to the existing guage face.

It is becoming reality.

That just a prof of concepet. That cad model is just multiple layers depending on how I extrude them. Ok take away the lcd panels on the before picture. Thats a rough face plate that sits on top of the original guage cluster. Trim away what is not needed on the oem guage face. Then this gets mounted on the back side.

Still looks like it is all coming together, I like it.

Well this is coming along better than I had planed.

Ok the retaining plate is on the printer. It has provisions for each ribbon cable from each lcd to pass thru. The brass standoffs will secure the retain plate in place ,while giving it space for the mock up pcb, which will hold the diffrent esp32. I will have to remove all these supports in the rear housing and fingers crossed the new stuff will fit inside this housing and will be a bolt in into the car.
