LOL I know! He is DAMN good at what he does! It also helps when you are working with awesome quality parts that are actually CNC'd and have the proper finishes.

Gamble, there is only one baffle inside the power steering piece that I had posted earlier, it resembles what a stock evo power steering looks like internally, only difference being it is aluminum

The outside pieces, are basically the top and bottom "lids of the can"

The bracket, is a simple 90 degree bend, that was welded to the outside of the can with a hole that allows mounting to the firewall in my case. I will pay attention next time to questions,my sincere apologises

Here's a small chamber I welded at work today. The machinist let me do it since it was for internal use only, not going to a customer :p

1/8" stainless steel, 2 Swagelok fittings and three mounting brackets, wire brushed after. We don't use filler on these. I was happy to hear it passed the He leak test at 1xE-6 Torr :D

Turbo sax why dont they want you to use filler? Theres alot of undercut.. But it depends on it's use i guess. It looks good for autogenous though.

Anyone good at polishing aluminum? i'm not even sure where to start. Does it need to be sanded?
Was thinking about picking up a grinder/buffer with 6" reach from harbor freight.

how long would it take to do say a catch can? And any way to clean the buffing wheel after it turns black?

I haven't gotten a straight answer on this, that's just how they've always done it. A lot of welds are done inside chambers to avoid any small air pockets that gas can be trapped in for the application, so clearances are really tight then and filler may not work. The parts aren't subject to any kind of stresses, really, except for a high vacuum.

Welded up some 304 end link adjusters last night. On my bench last night and on its way to Nevada today. :)
