Let me clarify. The scatter shield being so close to the compressor inlet. Easiest way out I see is a 45* bend welded directly to the inlet

. The settings were about 80% cleaning I think ( Lincoln only has a knob with words) and amperage was 160 but not floored so I can't even tell you that accurately. I will try to grab a vid this week for you.
The length of each cut the same? So only the first cut of the pie has a straight side and all other pieces have angles on both ends?

Sorry if this is a bad thread to ask this in, but I didn't think it was worth starting a new one.
I've been using a MIG for years and now I'm going to be getting TIG soon. I think I'm set on getting a Miller Syncrowave 200.
Anyway, my question is, what all should I get with it for accessories and gases? I plan on welding Aluminum intercooler piping, aluminum exhaust, stainless exhaust, and stainless/mild exhaust manifolds.
Love everyones fab work on here! You guys do way more custom stuff than most other car guys.


Hey mike, I am assuming you had the motor in the car when you mocked up the piping?
