Just wanted to know what are some coolent temperature reading from DSMer's and mods to keep that temperature.


Im running about 178deg's
with 2" Rad
2 10" fans
4 bottles of redline watter weter mixed with water

Under load, my coolant temps get up to 215, and they'll drop down in to the 170s at light cruise. At idle, it bounces around between 195 and 210 as the fan cycles on and off. All of this is with around 75* outside temps. Obviously, most of this would change if it was 30* or 110* outside. Anyway, that's what I recall.

Just keep in mind that too cool is bad.

Could you expound on this a little? The highest I've seen is mid 200* temps under load with a FMIC and the fans running a la DSMLink.
 
there are plenty of things you can do to controll coolant temps, colder thermostat 52mm 160-195 rite from pepboys, you can drill small holes in the thermostat to bleed hot coolant past before it pushes the thermostat open, add stronger fan(s), just don't put one fan in front of the other
