this sounds crazy and is frowned upon....... ive never ran 13's, 12's, or faster but with everything on this car and comparing it to everyone , i am hoping that this car hits a 11.99 or better.......................let you know in 2 weeks LOL

I want to get a few passes without grenading the motor. Not looking for times b/c I don't have the suspension mods/tires for good traction. I'd really just like to see if the rst can hit 100+mph traps on the stock bottom end.

LOL thats cool man. I'm hoping to hit 14's the 13's ftw. (Of course after some mods. - I just bought this thing stock)

Step 1: Get one of my DSM's running :p

Step 2: Break in the engine with the good ol' 14b w/ a 7cm^2. Try to touch 12's on pump.

Step 3: Move on to an hx35 and hope for high 11's on pump @115 or better. 120 would be nice.

Step 4:

Step 5: Profit!

Yeah, funny you say that, because I was looking into stuffing a 4294R compressor wheel in it when I first purchased it in 2006 -- my Garrett dealer said that it couldn't be done way back when....then 2-3 months later...Garrett puts out the GT4094R. :tease:

I never thought I was going to do more than 700AWHP with this turbo, and I am now going to try for 800AWHP for 2008 season.

As for the 70#/min, sure, it can do that, but it can also exceed that! :thumb: They have always put a heck of alot of cushion on their numbers.

My turbo choice isn't looking so bad now. I guess I underestimated it a little bit ROFL

I would like to finish this 3 year project and finally see it hit the road and i'd be happy with one clean pass this year. I need all safety equipment to legally go quicker than 11.49... This went from a 14b car to a fully built 2.4 gt4088 car, but it's not my first DSM and I really didn't feel like upgrading in stages this time around.

My goals are to just make it to the strip. I have no problem getting there with my DD however my talon is on life support.

I would like to get kicked from the track this year for not having a cage and then be able to still drive it home. And I am not planning on doing this with the setup in my profile. New setup is on order and should be arriving in the next 1-3 weeks depending on how long FP keeps things on backorder.

-get out of the hole without the clutch slipping
-make it to half track without the clutch slipping
(my new clutch should take care of those)
-run better than 15.01 @ 96.2 mph (hoping to hit 13's with the stock turbo)
-buy and install a ported big 16G from my buddy and run low 13's, high 12's?

hoping to get somewhere in the 12,s ,with any luck ,and everything staying together ,LOL good luck on everyones wishes ran 13.58 @ 98mph on stock setup ,so with new upgrades should be able to get in 12,s

well i have a few more mods i want to do but the drag strip is open til sept. over so by then i hope to be runnin 14.5 or better witha fwd i think this is possible i know its slow compared to other peoples goals but i dont want to run slower than that are i will be mad:mad:

Run a 10.70-10.80 between 130-135mph with the new slicks still using the gt30r all on e85 in my heavy ass galant:thumb:. Then send the turbo off to get the HTA wheel and new cover and see what that will get me.

I hope there's more done to your car then in your profile, if not you'll be dissapointed ;)

I just want to get out of the stupied 13's, this fwd thing is driving me crazy  . Though I guess street rubber in a 225/18/40 defently isn't helping the traction thing :sosad: . I'll have some more descent rubber this year with some sidewall (Hoosier drag radials) so hoping for mid 12's. The car should run low low 12's (or high 11's if I push it abit mroe) if I could get any traction.

There's a number of local awd's looking for 10's this year so it should be interesting to see gets there first.

theres no reason he couldnt hit amid 12 with that setup.. im sorry but your dead wrong.. i ran a 12.9 with all stock fuel system.. just intake, turbo back exhaust, and a hahn super 16g and there big sidemount..and act 2600 .. stock trans and 7 bolt long block..

Oi. My best time has been 13.8 (1.8 60') with a bad clutch and huge boost leak. I'm bringing the car out of storage tomorrow, having a pipe fabricated to get rid of my leak, order a clutch in the next week or two, do regular tune up and take it to Grand Rapids to try it out. I'm going to be optimistic and hope for a 12.9 on my FP big28 Good luck to you all!!!!

Ben :talon:

Hoping to turnout a low 13 or high 12. Thinkin about maybe changin my setup again in june after i get some numbers on the 16g.

Well, over this summer I'm going from stock intercooler to a Treadstone one, and from a small 16G to a Bullseye 50-trim. Hoping to go from a 1/4 mile time of 12.22 into the 11s range. The only drag strip we have here in Okinawa is 150m long, so my aim for that at the next tournament is to go from my previous 7.032 to under 7s.
