Not to die in Iraq so that I can rebuild my engine and race in 09.....
2008 Goals:
Run 7.70's with the 4g63 rear wheel drive.
Run 9.60's with Sandra's Laser
Win Pinks All Out at Englishtown
Stop the stupid parts breakage that we had in 2007.

if sandra's laser is the one you bought in new jersey from alex at dog box racing just so you know that car has gone very low 9's the way it sat when he sold it to you...
about that, one thing I won't do though is take a low 9 second car and turn it into an 11 second car. We're tightening up the ship for '08!
We understand exactly how it was presented to us.....but I don't want to sit here and say, "we're going to run 8's this year" when we haven't even run 9's yet, know what I'm saying? It went 10.13 the first time I ever drove it (no nitrous, terrible track). I'm confident the car will go 40's, but we haven't run 9's with it yet (the tracks are closed). In other words, I don't doubt the way the car was built, it's actually AWESOME! I just want to crawl before we try to walk and walk before we try to run. I don't want us to get too far ahead of ourselves. We spent 2007 chasing stupid mistakes we made and we don't want to do that in 2008 with such a well built car.
I can see how you wouldabout that, one thing I won't do though is take a low 9 second car and turn it into an 11 second car. We're tightening up the ship for '08!
Then I hope to see you in 09 -- Be safe, and good luck! We will look foward to having you back stateside!

The 2008 "drag season" is coming up soon and I was just curious to see what the community as a whole has in mind for their personal goals this year. Myself, I would like to see my car actually move under its own power, for the first time since I've owned it.
And run, a 13 maybe...
What do you guys expect for yourselves?
