WTB HKS BOV INFO on 2G?

Does anyone know how well the hks bov works on a 2g?(I know that it works great on my boy's wrx & it is loud). I current have a Greddy RS bov with recirc kit.And it is not loud at all. I know because the bov is recirculated.It is not as loud as it would be with it is venting.I try to venting for a little while also but it still didn't seem loud.(It got louder just a bit) I want to get some feedback from people that actually own this bov.I heard from some shops that I go to.For me not to get it cause the bov causes the car to die out!!!???
Also,I already have the greddy upper intercooler piping.Could I mount it on top of that?or would I need to buy a special adapter to mount on my greddy piping?
Would it be a good idea to trade with someone that has a HKS Bov with my greddy.(I had it for about a month & a half almost).Or just buy one and sell my greddy with the recirc kit & adapter?

Well first off, venting is not a good idea, it's not how the car was meant to be. If you want toknow why search. If you want to vent, get a gm maf with a translator. The reason the car was idleing bad and dieing was because it was not recirculated.

Unless you have the gm maf the hks would not be a wise choice because it does not recirc back into the intake. Yes you would need an adaptor.

Posting about making your bov louder is one way to get flamed big on this forum.

Yeah bud, you really need to search on this topic (Towards the top of the page in the middle with yellow letters that say "Search") Just type in HKS SSQV and his enter. Also, using some basic grammar and punctuation goes a long way too.

To help answer your question NEVER buy a BOV just for the sound. If that is what you are after then you really need get your priorities straight.
