Dying my interior black and I decided to wrap my door inserts, arm rest and cargo cover. Depending how much people like it, I'll make up a how to post. The door inserts and arm rest both have new 1/4" foam on them to make them nice and comfortable.
There's a couple small wrinkles but I can live with it for now.

Arm rest.

Nice job. Personally, I would have gone with microsuede though, I'm not too crazy about the pattern on the fabric.

gotta give you props on that. looks awesome. I too would like a how to on this.

Hard to see anything but the armrest. Turn on your flash.

Flash is on, the room is just dark.

Thanks.
I chose the fabric to suit me, you do build a car for yourself after all.

Nice looks good its kind of like hidden detail like the kind that doesnt stand out but it still adds a lot to the interior..if that mad sense haha

It makes sense. I wanted something that stood out yet was look key at the same time.

I'll get a how to up tomorrow guys.

Nice. Turned out pretty good. Now if a how to is in order it will be even better. I guess everyone has a problem with the sun roof cover fabric coming off!

how do you get the piece for the door off? i would love to do something with the interior of this car, and we had talked about those pieces before, but i don't know how to separate without breaking? thanks :)

As stated in the article you need to remove a ton of screws to release the insert. There is a styrofoam piece that has 3 which gives you access to all but 3 screws holding the insert in. To actually get the Insert out you need to remove the hard plastic insert and door vent system. It's actually quite easy to do and I should have taken pictures on how to do that a while back when I stripped down 4 panels for swapping parts.

Just take your time and be gental as you will break the plastic connectors if you are rough. Some pieces just need to be nudged the wrong way before they break as they are that old and brittle.

Not really my style, but the work looks good bud.

Thanks.

I've got to replace my door boxes so when I do that I'll take some pictures of all the screw locations and post them in the how to.
I need to buy a new camera because my current one is a giant POS.
