Would these rims stay nice?

Hi

My dad and I have a red 93 eagle talon awd. We are looking for some 17 inch rims for it. I came across a nice one on ebay. Its called a "Drag Dr-31". Its a sort of replica of the "Work Emotion Kai". Its cheap and half the price of the real thing.
Do you think this rim would stay nice with a red talon?

personally i don't like drags, but those painted black on a red talon would look nice

i use to have a set on my old celica. they were powder coated tho. so of course they held up great. as far as these being painted i would think they would hold up as well as any other painted rim. with a little maintance the finish should last. as far as quality i had no complaints and i had 50 sidewall and still hit a few potholes. nothing to deep but they held up very well and id def buy another set. for the money its a good buy imo. also agree - paint em black

But painting them black they will just blend in with the road. White would pop out, dont you think?

White rims are horrible to keep clean..You have to go out and wipe them off at least once a week..

Ceramic pads help cut down on brake dust..But the wheels still need to be wipped..

That is true. Bronze would stay nice too i suppose? But black or gunmetal i think ill go with one of those.

As for color, bronze or black rims on a red 1G would be awesome. Never been a fan of white personally.

Those aren't very light at all they're actually kind of heavy I'm not sure why it says super lightweight. If you're going to paint them black might as well find some black wheels the finish will last longer.

Black would look great, but maybe a little hint of red so that the eye catches something instead of all black.

Wow yes those are heavy for 17's. Drag doesnt make a good quality wheel. They pit and corrode over time. I've seen this first hand

They come in both 5 lug sizes. I wanted to order the 5x114.3 for my 1G. That is the standard size for 1G

I recommend going with what you like but I personally like bronze (gold) or black wheels. I rarely see a white wheel I like unless it's on a white car. Even then not all cars look right with them. Also, you will have to clean brake dust off of them a lot.
