would a galant tranny be useable in my talon

my transmission took a crap on my talon (94 non turbo) and I've been looking around for a replacement. But 1g dsm are kinda non existent in my area it seems >.>
I found a you-pull yard that has a 94 Galant. I was wondering i that transmission would work in my talon.

Also was wondering what transmissions other than an Eclipse/Lazer trans would work as a replacement

If it was an earlier galant I'd say yes , those 94-97 galants are more compatable with 2gs, unless its a rare galant gs with a 5speed manual and the junk yard and your at is a manual then you can make it work , but if. It's an auto it's a different story cause of the TCMs .

Yea mines a 5sp Idk details about the galant. The inventory listing just says 1994 galant. Doesn't say anything about trim level. Thanks for the input though.
