Well am doing a 6 bolt swap on my 2g. Before the motor was pulled out my CEL had been on due to a MAP sensor malfunction. Am planning to getting a MAP sensor relocation kit for my 1g manifold. Am wondering if i could use a GM 3 bar MAP sensor with the 1g intake manifold with the relocation kit. If so, what all do i need? Currently my setup is tuned with a SAFC and wideband. am planning on going with a DSMlink later down the road..just am just asking if i could wire a GM map sensor on my 2g turbo. Thanks and any help is appreciated!

the gm map woudl not solve your cel problems.

the factory 2g map is actually a manifold differetial pressure sensor, who's function is not to measure airflow, but to verify EGR function.

I believe they make adaptors for the 2g mdp
that allow you to bolt the map to an adaptor that allows you to t it into a plenum source.

The MAP(MDP) isn't actually needed and the CEL affects nothing.

If you get DSMLink down the road you can wire a 3bar into the stock MDP wires and log boost, the how to is on the Link forums.
