Spyder Windshield wiper motors

My windshield wipers aren’t working, tried putting in a new fuse and they work for 5 seconds but the fuse keeps getting burnt out, anyone know the problem? Was thinking it might be the windshield wiper motor.

It very well could be the motor. I had a similar issue years ago and didn't believe it could ever be the motor. I swapped it one day with a spare, and they worked perfectly.

Either the links posted, a salvage yard, or the classifieds.

First, I would pull the entire assembly out and look at it on a bench, it might just be a frozen up linkage assembly that you can free up and lubricate, if thats the case a new motor wont fix it, its not a bad job to pull the entire unit out.

The controls could have been broken.. did you check?

Yeah they’re not broken just have no buttons, still works but it’s time for a new one
