I've been thinking of this for a while now. My 1g power windows are junk. I've gone through all the vfaq stuff, adjusted the guides, cleaned the tracks, etc etc. I've tweaked with them literally for years. They move really, really slow. Over this time I have realized that the passenger window works way better when the driver -and- passenger buttons are used together. Everything else electrical in my car works just fine. I'm convinced the main problem with 1g windows is the motors get sub-par power. Rewiring fuel pumps is common in these cars, I just wonder if anyone has considered rewiring their window motors in a similar way.
