Will they idle well? Also, do they come with the instructions & stuff for tuning?

They will surely support my HP goals so just trying to make sure it'll be good for ECMLink v3

Should be fine. A huge number of us run FIC (I'm putting 1200s in myself) and they're stable and solid. You'll need the resistor delete pack but you probably already know that.

They should come with their spec sheet which includes deadtimes but keep in mind that they don't test their injectors with the DSM driver circuit so the deadtimes provided will undoubtedly need a bit of adjusting to your particular setup. There's no particular number that works across all injectors, but what they give should at least get the car running. Their deadtimes on the sheet most closely translates to the injector DA table, not the fuel adjust table in Settings. So you'll have to do some math if you want to run both.

They don't include tuning info but there are lots of videos are out there for ecmlink on how to tune injectors in open and closed loop.

Just make sure your closed loop operation works correctly (o2 sensor works correctly, no exhaust leaks pre-o2, and closed loop is enabled) to avoid dousing your cylinders with fuel.

FIC is a go to for a lot of platforms. I run 2150's, 2150's and 1120's, all FIC and I am happy with the way they perform!

I swear my old low-z 750s had this weird issue around 3000-3500 RPM right where the pulse width would wobble.. made for a very abrupt VE change that I could never get around. I'm expecting the high-Z to cure that and the ones OP has are solid choices. They'll need pigtails and some soldering work but that's practically zero effort there, just a bit more expense. Some of the other FIC offerings have plugs that are OE compatible, like the 1200s. However, that's a $110 USD premium on top so it's probably just better to go with the 1000s.

So if I got the 1200s I wouldn’t have to worry about the soldering, they’d just drop in ?

https://fuelinjectorclinic.com/IS126-1200H is a drop-in using the factory harness. Double check your harness connectors to make sure they're in good condition, no broken contacts, etc.

You can also buy plug-and-play adapters for the 1000s. That would mean they are still drop-in, you'd just have an additional double-ended plug per injector. Not a big deal in 99.999% of cases. I should have mentioned that earlier, but I would always prefer the solder method as it creates a physical bond and less loss, but we're talking about signaling really.. not exactly high amp stuff. Besides, a PnP harness just turns your high-Z into minutely slightly higher-Z LOL

From FIC, the PnP adapters cost an extra $45. So now the spread between 1000-1200 is $65

(these are prices straight from FIC, not a reseller)
$567 for FIC-1200, drop in
$502 for FIC-1000 + PnP adapters
$457 for FIC-1000 w/ solder-in pigtals

12% cost increase for %20 flow increase. Whether it's worth it is up to you.
