Will I run into any trouble on rebuild when compression raises?

I am doing a simple rebuild on the head and the bottom end. Will i have any problems when i use the custom 1g rod 2g pistons, I know it raises compression to 8:5:1 will there be any problems or will i have to mess with anything? All answers are thankful

Yes, timing will need to be tuned carefully.

I meant you will need to tune to remove timing. The stock timing curve is for 7.8:1.
